I'm looking to purchase my first dinghy and am on the look out for a Laser which is in reasonable condition and has everything ready to go.

Looking to spend around the £500 mark- give or take.

After searching the internet for quite a few months now and finding nothing I realise that I might need to spend a little more than my original £500 budget. If anybody has a single-hander, preferably a Laser, suitable for a 6ft tall mid-twenty to learn to sail in then please get in touch with details and your asking price!

Also, if somebody would like to offer me opportunity to gain a few more hours on the water either by borrowing their boat sometime or by crewing on weekends, i'd be grateful as I've not sailed now since finishing the RYA 2 course in the summer and don't really know any members to ask directly as i'm new around here!

Hi Adam, did you find yourself a Laser? You'd be welcome to use mine to practice and if you like it I may sell it as I think I need something that I'm less likely to get wet on for the winter months. It's an awesome mustard yellow colour with equally eighties sails but she's a complete boat with a launch trailer. It's at the club. You can contact me on 07725207916.
